This would be bad, very very bad

Developers could change view of iconic Hollywood Sign. Christ, I hate developers. I remember when I lived in Playa del Rey before this monstrosity was built. It was wonderful to have this big open space in L.A. I wasn't naive enough to think it would last, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't have. Can we please have one spot in L.A. undeveloped? Love this quote from the Hollywood Sign article: "It would be a crime to have buildings up there. It ought to be part of Griffith Park," said Chris Schwab, a retired engineer who has lived on Hollyridge Drive near Cahuenga Peak since 1965. "They should get their few million dollars' profit and then get out and go home to Chicago." Go Chris! And people like to think Angelenos are shallow and money grubbing. Let's pay them off so they can get home in time for tornado season.
